Blue Clove Polyps
Blue clove polyps (genus unconfirmed)
£35.00
A small flower bed in brilliant blue. Paler centres add detail to these colourful, softly moving polyps.
The lighting, flow and placement advice here is specific to this coral. For broader care advice for its species or group, see the linked care guide.
- Care advice
- Low to moderate light after acclimation, with moderate indirect flow that keeps the mat clean. Allow time after shipping for the small polyps to reopen. These spreading polyps can colonise surrounding surfaces: use an isolated removable rock and monitor neighbouring rockwork. Keep nutrients measurable.
- Care advice
- Recommended parameters — Alkalinity 7.5–8.5 dKH · Calcium 400–450 ppm · Magnesium 1250–1400 ppm · Salinity 35 ppt · Temperature 24–26°C · Nitrate 2–15 ppm · Phosphate 0.04–0.10 ppm. Stability matters more than chasing a specific point within these ranges.
Every Signature Frags coral goes through an extensive in-house aquaculture process before sale. This includes strict quarantine, treatment throughout the process, and regrowth through multiple systems before entering final grow-out. This conditioning helps prepare our corals for life in your reef.

Ready to receive
Please ensure someone is available to receive your delivery. Courier delays can occasionally occur.
Coral welfare comes first
If temperatures are unsuitable or there are known courier-network delays or other transport disruptions, we may postpone dispatch. We will contact you to arrange another suitable arrival day.
24-hour coral guarantee
Covered for 24 hours
Corals that arrive dead or die within 24 hours of delivery are covered, subject to our care conditions. Report any concern within that 24-hour window.
Reporting a concern
Send your order number and clear, sharply focused photographs in neutral white lighting, showing the whole coral and a close-up. We may request clearer images or a short video if the evidence is inconclusive.
If a bag arrives cloudy
Photograph it before opening where possible and contact us promptly. If the coral is alive, follow our acclimation instructions without delay. Do not keep it sealed while waiting for our reply.
Guarantee conditions
Approved claims receive a replacement where available, or livestock credit for the amount paid. Replacement shipping is charged separately under our voluntary guarantee.
Follow our care instructions and keep corals on their plugs without mounting them to rockwork during the guarantee period and, if you report a claim, until it has been assessed. Losses caused by inappropriate chemicals, incorrect dipping concentration or duration, or other mishandling are excluded.
See the full policy for claim and care conditions. This guarantee is additional to, and does not affect, your statutory rights.
