Setosa
Montipora setosa
£35.00
Some classics never need reinventing. Montipora setosa brings saturated orange-red colour across chunky branches, rounded knobs and textured ridges.
The lighting, flow and placement advice here is specific to this coral. For broader care advice for its species or group, see the linked care guide.
- Care advice
- Low to moderate light initially, around 75–150 PAR, with gradual acclimation to brighter positions if needed. Provide low to moderate indirect flow around the chunky branches and encrusting base
- Care advice
- avoid strong direct jets. Leave room for irregular knobs and branching growth. This hardy Montipora tolerates a broad range of conditions, but stable alkalinity and calcium support healthy development.

Follow our care instructions and keep corals on their plugs without mounting them to rockwork during the guarantee period and, if you report a claim, until it has been assessed. Losses caused by inappropriate chemicals, incorrect dipping concentration or duration, or other mishandling are excluded.
See the full policy for claim and care conditions. This guarantee is additional to, and does not affect, your statutory rights.
