Northern Lights, glowing green with just enough purple to create its own little aurora. This beautiful smooth-skinned Acropora carries incredibly bright lime-to-neon green across the colony, with cooler translucent purple developing through the growing tips and subtle darker tones around the corallites.

The colour is clean and uncomplicated, but that is exactly why it works. As the colony matures, the intense green creates a brilliant block of colour while the purple tips become increasingly visible across the new growth, giving it that shifting green-and-purple appearance that inspired the name.

It has a delicate, open branching structure that becomes increasingly attractive as it fills out, and it has proven to be an easy-going Acropora once settled.
