Cherry Blossom, a famous old-school collector Acropora with the sort of saturated colour that immediately explains the name. This rare morph develops incredibly rich cherry-red to hot-pink flesh, with deeper crimson and magenta through the lower growth and contrasting violet-to-purple developing through the axial tips.

The colour becomes particularly impressive once established. The younger growth can carry those cooler purple tones before transitioning into intense pink and cherry red farther down the branch, while the closely packed corallites create a beautifully textured appearance. Grown into a colony, the combination gives it that mass of pink-red colour reminiscent of cherry blossom in full bloom.

This piece appreciates time to acclimate before being moved into higher light, where an established colony can develop its strongest colour and compact growth. It’s a proper collector Acropora and one that deserves patience rather than being rushed.
